Reese Hawkins is

a verb. Passionate yet guarded. The type of quiet that can be deafening. 

I was born in a small town and raised by my mom, grandmother, and aunt. I love baseball (go Braves) and have loved golf ever since my uncle let me tap in his bogeys. 

I am also a multi-instrumentalist, spanning guitar, piano, drums, mandolin, and bass. I have performed with several artists in my time, but my main love has been writing music with my band The Lonely Owls. Check us out on your favorite streaming service.

For a writer, I find writing about myself the most difficult subject. I wish I were an open book, but honestly I am more of a blinking cursor—ready and willing—just waiting for you to proceed.
